TEL AVIV: Armoza Formats’ game show Still Standing has been commissioned for a full season by Hungary’s M1 in the series’ third international license deal, following pickups from NBC in the U.S. and Antena 3 in Spain.

The local version is already in production with producers Show & Game and is slated to premiere in October. M1 will air 80 daily episodes, of which TV personality Gabor Gundel Takacs will host. Still Standing challenges contestants with the chance to win $1 million by out-guessing ten opponents in ten fast-paced and dramatic trivia battles.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said: "Hungary is a growing market and truly one of the leaders as far as formats in Central and Eastern Europe, and we’re very proud to partner with media group MTVA on our first broadcast deal in the territory. We’re thrilled with the success of Still Standing, especially in a market as competitive as Spain. The show has truly become a phenomenon there, proving that game shows can succeed with the Spanish audience if they’re fresh, entertaining and challenging. The fact that Still Standing airs two original episodes on Tuesdays in Spain is proof positive."
